FRESH SALSA, Pico De Gallo Style!

Ingredients
2 to 3 medium-sized fresh tomatoes (1 to 1 1/2 pounds), stems removed
1/2 red onion
2 serrano chiles or 1 jalapeño chile (stems, ribs, seeds removed), less or more to taste
Juice of one lime
1/2 cup chopped cilantro (you can pick up some from The Barefoot Farmers Market)
Salt and pepper to taste
Pinch dried oregano (crumble in your fingers before adding), more to taste
Pinch ground cumin, more to taste

Directions
Roughly chop up your veggies (tomatoes, onion, and hot pepper. Make sure to wash your hands after cutting up the hot pepper!
Add tomatoes, onions, hot peppers, lemon juice, fresh cilantro from The Bare Foot Farmers Market, dried oregano, ground cumin, salt, and pepper into a food processor. Pulsate to a fine dice. (If you don't have one simply cut up your veggies into smaller and smaller sizes to your liking).
Remove from the food processor and pour into a bowl. You can always add a little more salt and pepper if you like.
Mix and let it sit for one hour, so all the flavors mix well.
Then serve with some chips!
If you'd like to make your chips try making tortilla chips!

TORTILLA CHIPS
Ingredients
Tortilla bread
Salt
Directions
Heat a pan on high with olive oil (you can pick some up at The Barefoot Farmers Market)
Take a stack of tortilla bread (about 7) high.
Cut them as you would a pizza to create triangles.
Once you're oil it hot, gentle place 4 to 6 triangles in the oil and watch them closely as they cook fast.
Turn them and remove them when golden.
Keep going until you have completed your stack of tortilla chips.
Add a little salt, and enjoy!
